Kwame A Plus writes to Mahama: “I’ll campaign for you if…”
Dear President Mahama,
Today I salute you. I’ve been looking at your picture and smiling. Today I must say you are in my heart.
Mr President, DO NOT LEGALIZE SAME SEX MARRIAGE IN THIS COUNTRY.
The Scottish MPs said what? Don’t mind them!! They can all runaway from the country when you next visit for all I care. If you are able to say this simple sentence, “I WILL NOT LEGALIZE SAME SEX MARRIAGE IN GHANA” I’ll vote for you. I’ll even campaign for you. And trust me you’ll win hands down. If you’ll not say it Nana Addo can try and I can bet my last coin (of cause that’s all I have) that he’ll beat you in November’s election.
In this civilized world opinions must be allowed. Unfortunately gays have made themselves small gods who want their rights the world over but do not want to allow human beings the simple and fundamental human right to free speech. You can’t even say, “I’m against gay right” without being victimised by the same people who are crying for right. These guys are a bunch of hypocrites. What is wrong with being against someone’s views of marriage in today’s world?
BBC Africa, which is supposed to serve Africans allowed gay people/gay right activists I know on social media to call Africans primitive on their platform because Africa has not legalised same sex marriage. I created another account and visited their page only to realize that all the people who insulted Africa as a primitive and dark continent on a platform which is supposed to be for Africans are still there but have blocked me from their Facebook for saying I hate gays and that they should all move to Mars. Honestly I didn’t mean the “hate” part.
You cannot hate a fellow human being just because of their sexual orientation or just because they are using the right channel to advance their cause. However, I’ll say something very painful to anyone who came to my continent, stole and enslave my people for 400 years and comes back to call me primitive and a dark continent. That is exactly what happened on BBC Africa’s Facebook. Anyone can fight for the legalization of same sex.
That’s their right and must be allowed. It’s called civilization. I will forever fight against the legalisation of same sex marriage in Africa especially Ghana through the right means and I expect gay people to accept and not victimise me. It called TOLERANCE. I’m against your views. Tolerant me. That is by extension civilization. God bless Mahama. God bless Africa. God bless Ghana.
But yesterday my light went off ooo. Wosop? You start your thing again, abi?
